Cheap Treats.

What I love about inner city stores...

...cute cheap shoes!

The name of the store is Shoes for Her located near my home town of Trenton, NJ, in Ewing's Parkside Plaza. It's the best lil shopping plaza that offers almost anything you need. ShopRite for you groceries, Mama Flora's for your Italian, Tan Mai for your Chinese, A dollar store for EVERYTHING, LA Perfection Nails...if you're into that kinda thing, Parkside Wine and Liquor that boast a 5 seat bar stool in the store!! cuz I'm into that kinda thing...and get this...Wild and Crazy Wigs for your extensions where you can go two stores over to The Weave Shop and have them sew it in!!!  It's crazy!

Simply Sophisticated

I got my eyes on you..............
......Braided Leatherette T-Strap.
I have a couple pairs of sandals in this color ...because if you follow my blog you know Cognac is my go to for shoes, so I don't necessarily need another pair.  But really for $24.50 who would turn these down?

Red Devil

You can't deny these devil red wedges wouldn't
be fabulous with a pair of dark blue skinny's.
These shoes are SO up my alley it's ridiculous!  I absolutely love the spike detail on the heel only.  It most certainly is enough, not to mention the touch of sweetness being they are an open toe shoe.  A little something to keep em guessing when you walk away!

Not Exactly Rainbow Bright

My quest to be more "colorful" obviously hasn't prompted me to kick down the door on my love of blues and blacks, but this here is an accomplishment for me. Especially being it's now Fall.
I usually keep my color experimentation's for spring and summer.  Well..everyone's gotta evolve right.

The Color Orange

What do you think?
I was perusing through Etsy.com and stumbled upon these Vintage 70's 3 Color Leather  Gloria Vanderbilt Heel boots being sold by Ramblin' Vintage Shop for $99.00.  Size 9 only ladies.. sorry.

Normally I wouldn't really care for something that looks this orange but it could pass for Cognac...barely.  Be that as it may.. I still love anything from the 70's and wouldn't mind owning these babies.  There is something special about them

Why?

...would they make such a lovely boot!

I'm slobbering all over these

Pink Duchess Shakira 8 Cognac Buckle Up Platform Bootie,

That is quite a mouthful of a name for a shoe.   They are MY color, and I adore the stitch work on the front.  The heel height is a little intimidating but I will still add them to my Savvycircle list.

However I won't need to wait until they go on sale cause these babies are only $45 @ Lulus.com

When Designers Lose It.

I had great hopes for Jeffrey Campbell, not saying that I no longer do but someone please explain to me what happened below?

You can not tell me these aren't some of the craziest shoes you've seen!  From what I've seen of this shoe designer his shoes are getting wackier and wackier. Yes they're different and innovative but that does not make them cute.  They are perfect however for Nastygal.com where you can purchase them for the very Jeffrey Campbell price of $175.00.  You know.. if you're into this sorta thing.

I Love The 80's!

My My...Talk about the ultimate 80's boot.
These Dynamite Booties are courtesy of Lulu's.com.  Who...well many people don't love all things 80's but I am not one of those people.  These boots take me back to all my favorite movies.  From Valley Girl to Just One of the Guys. Fortunately for someone these boots are only available in a size 6 and are going for only $68.00.  Bring out your inner Jennifer Beals as Alex Owens in Flashdance and own it!

......despite the supple look of the leather.. they're just strange.

Shoe For Thought.

.......remember Jimmy Choo? His shoes were so great they should have called him Jimmy "Shoe". What ever happened to him?? OH! I know!

Manolo Blahnik.

SJP and Sex and The City helped launch the career of this shoe god. Then his name too left our lips like slow drying gloss. Who took his place??

Christian Louboutin.

Who assisted in giving us the covered platform and such grandeur elegance. I'm still praising him for it today. It leaves me wondering though who's next after him.

We all know good things must come to an end, and even tho all these designers are still doing their thing, we don't hear too much about the previous two anymore.

Such is Fashion. So who's next?
Could it be Guiseppe Zanotti with his
take on edgy sexiness?,

or Mui Mui and their sheer uniqueness?
..a bit much for me.

Personally I love L.A.M.B shoes. I think they nail the Rocker-Chic look. My fav. Who ever is next I'm sure will stir our senses just like their predecessors.
